The Shop
He is very outspoken and i love the fact he calls out the other 250 dudes ! This kid has balls
My impression was that he didn't really have anything to lose, given his outdoor title hopes for this year were already shot. That being said, I was a little surprised at how aggressive he was riding, and even more surprised he went out there for the second qualifier
Glad he is already looking forward to next year, hope he has learned to tone it down a little in practice (just not too much less)
His best odds were to tone it down a bit and try to get a podium in that race. Get one more week of therapy and hope for something crazy to happen in Vegas which may have.
He is young and full of confidence and as he said himself, did not have experience with this type of injury before. Too bad someone was not able to talk him into a different approach other than 'full send' in the final.
Based on him having issues in the second qualifier he had to of known (and anyone who has had this injury before knew) the knee was not going to hold up in full send mode.
