Does anyone use the bleeders like this? I've been on the fence about ordering some as some people don't seem like too huge of fans of them, Worth it or not?

I just installed those exact ones. Ktm 250 xc-f 2019. 1 ride so far and worked great. Definitely easier than the screws that come stock.

I’ve got a set of the motion pros on a bike and they seem to work well without issue. I had a pair back in the day, don’t remember the brand but they seemed to suck air in while riding. YMMV.

I use that exact set. They seem OK. I bought them because they are very short.

I used to use them but I run Pro-Taper (no cross bar) and I’ve had the bar pad push down and bleed them when I didn’t want it to. It’ll smoke your fork seals quick if you bleed them when the wheel is not off the ground. I’ve also smoked one riding in the woods and had to limp the bike back to the truck blowing oil out.... I went back to stock bleeder screws.

Not worth the risk. It isn’t hard to undo two screws even at a shitty angle 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'd really like to drill and tap and countersink that silly M10 fork bleeder on the aer so you can run the torx m4 screw on both sides to bleed. Just don't have a drill press anymore

I have a set on my YZ250. Swapped out the other style bleeders because I hated them and the MP’s were cheaper than getting new OEM replacements. I’ve heard they are much better than the other style. I’ll report back as soon as I can ride a bit with these in.

First thing I install on all my new bikes. Been running them for several years without issues....KYB, Showa and WP versions.

It's a farkin simple spring loaded needle valve. With all the electrical devices and mechanical components on these modern 4-strokes, the last thing I'm worried about failing is my fn fork bleeders.

We have had those on three bike at a time ( 7or 8 different bike total) for about 10 years. Never had one failed, never had issues and they are way easier and faster to use than the screw. One of the first thing I put on a new bike.

We run the Zeta

I put on the Motion Pro’s ...no issues. It’s just way easier and faster like llaberte22 stayed above.

Yep. Ive got one of the bikes with updated forks as well.... that's why I had the idea.

I think the big 10mm bleeder is carryover from running two Schrader valves

I used motion pros this year, never had an issue over the course of 18ish hours. Kept the stockers in my toolbox just in case, but they worked fine.

Some have a tendency to pump air in on rebound...

Had them on one of my bikes until I noticed oil started seeping out.
That seems to be the consensus of them over time from what I have seen first hand.

Call Ross over at enzo and ask him what he thinks about them. You'll get a earful! Lol

I ran those for awhile but as others have said they always leaked oil when bleeding forks. Someone suggested the system tech racing bleeders. I've run them for 15+ hours so far and haven't had a drop of oil come out of them. They do advertise having a triple seal and seem to be a better design.

I’ve had several types. Some cheesy high profile broke or interfered with bars.
Latest Motion Pros have been pretty good low profile and recessed button so no accidental side loads/broken bleeders.
I habitually use them to bleed after tying down. I had a few chronic fork seals leak on my 03 CRF450 and a buddy suggested it would help. Yes, I know peak pressures when riding are higher. However haven’t had a fork seal leak since so I’ll keep doin it for all of my bikes since.

I've been running these things for like 20 years and never had an issue that includes all of our mini from the last about 7 years. I don't understand why anybody wouldn't run them.

IMO STR has a great product and work the best. They are also made in Colorado, so supporting local.
