you are talking about a real sport where the athletes have a degree, smart people advising them, and unionized leverage.

Our dirtbag sport has none of the above.

umm degree? its scary how many go pro that couldn't pass an 8th grade test. let alone the ones that don't go pro. more than a few have admitted to never seeing the classroom lol.

If I'm healthy enough to complain. I shouldn't be complaining.

You would be very surprised how many guys in the NFL are actually really intelligent. Sure, a lot of them receive bull shit degrees but there are enough that were/are intelligent. Also, a second string full back on the Cleveland Browns probably makes more in a year than we probably do in 7. But they're the dumb ones laughing

Has it been announced how long Tickles penalty will be for? Why does it take so long to make a decision on this? How is a guy supposed to plan his future when the penalty is undetermined for what, 2-3 months after the test results?

Unions have nothing to do with it. Penalties were set when the drug testing started. The FIM and AMA dropped the ball when they started testing.

Offensive linemen are some of the most intelligent.
They have to know the entire playbook.

Go for it! Don't let a little thing like fear, or common sense hold you back.

False. Very few go broke a few years after they retire.

The NFL is worth $60 billion dollars for reason,it is the King of professional sports in America! Superstar players suspended equals declining ticket sales! Now,second, third on the depth chart, not a problem.

The FIM/AMA and MXSports do not get to pick the penalties, they outsourced their drug testing program to WADA/USADA.

The NFL has its own drug testing program, and everything therein including the penalties are the result of collective bargaining between the owners and the players' association.

Slap on the wrist vs career ending penalty. Ridiculous.
