Someone brought it up to JT on the podcast. Sounded like JT couldn't say anything yet, but Steve eluded that there was something on the way.

We updated the F2 for 2019. The ones you see in closeout are the heavier 2018 version. The 2019 version is carbon/kevlar with MIPS, 2.9 lbs and $299 retail. There's nothing out there that can touch that combo.

I hated the old formula helmet but have had three F2 Carbons. By far the nicest helmet i've ever purchased for the price and i've owned several Shoei and Arai lids over the years.

thoughts about the Klim Fidlock magnet strap coming to MX helmets? i know they are on their offroad helmet and i've seen them snowmobiling and everyone i've talked to loves it.

What shell size weighs 2.9lbs? Sounds like a great value. Any idea what a L/XL shell weighs?

It’s not announced but it’s in the WPS Catolog along with price and colorways if they didn’t take it off, it’s a helmet similar to the 6D style with absorbers

I love my current F2, if i wasn't holding out for the Formula i wouldn't bat an eye at getting the updated model.

Most everyone I ride with has more than one set of gear. Sorry this offended you so much that you referred to it as a “brilliant idea”....the price of the F2 is less than half of the Formula, I think that’s the point here

Just bought two. One for me and one for the kid. Mr Cheapassajew here finally got a good helmet for the first time in 22 years of riding. I figured for the price, why buy something else? I just hope good helmets are like good boots. Once you pay for good ones, you never go back to cheap shit.
