I was doing some helmet shopping and came across this. I haven't heard anything on it, and after a search nothing came up on google. I read the info, but I was just wondering if anyone out there knew anymore on it? Photo

It's from the WPS 2019 apparel catalog that is online on wps-inc.com. So it's not exactly hidden info:

Looks cool and a bit similar to what Kali did a few years ago, good that we have even more high-end options out there!

With the amount of concussions as of late, Im not sure any of this new tech does anything over an old Moto 4 from the 80s.

Newer helmets feel flimsier as well.

My post is my opinion. If you don't agree with it, I'm OK with it.

Gravity has stayed constant. Speeds have increased so impacts forces have increased.

Flimsy can be good. You want energy to be dispersed and absorbed. If it's to stiff it means no energy is absorbed before the force is transferred to your head. Would you rather run in to a flimsy wall or a brick wall?

Looks like it comes in just slightly heavier than the Alpinestars helmet, but still 180-ish grams lighter than the 6D

Isn't that a bicycle helmet?

Take it to the limit, one more time!

looks nice, but $600 puts it right in the middle of the top of the line helmets pricewise.

I dig it. I know Kali brought some new ideas to market years ago. I wonder if they're out wheelin' and dealin' to license the tech to some other brands. The Leatt helmet is of similar design.

I switched from Fly to Leatt. I feel it’s comparable to a 6d, which I have the opinion of being top dog right now.

You do realize that a good majority of the riders that are on the gate are in F2's

That's what I was thinking, but also maybe that's why they're coming out with a higher end one. I still think the F2 is very good, and especially at that price.

How many are in them due to contracts and how many by choice? Its not a bad helmet. Ive had 3 so far now and love the fit and finish. All iam saying is i feel like there are safer options.

Fly leaves their riders an option out or the choice to get other helmet contracts. Riders liked Canard and Short could’ve gotten other helmet deals but chose to stay Fly, while a rider like Justin Brayton decided to get his own deal.

This has been in the 19 apparel catalog online and in dealers for awhile as well as on some lesser known online shops.

Definitely seems like a great option for people wanting something even more similar to a 6D or Bell Moto 9 Flex.

Same with Josh grant also i assume? What's your opinion ML? I never had an issue with the F2 and i would still recommend it to anyone looking to buy a helmet. My comment wasnt to put down the F2. I just felt it wasnt a top shelf helmet.
