Is this track just out of reach for any promoters to promote a big race at?

Seems like it's a world class track and you never hear anything about it!

Most likely. It is pretty far South in Florida.

Not sure how many riders are down in the Miami, Cape Coral area. Tampa is an hour and a half or so to the North and has struggled for attendance at the Supercross races held there in the past. Miami had a Supercross in 1989, it is famous for being the all sand Supercross race.

It looks like a fun place to ride though.

Define world class
Florida Tracks and Trails

I guess what I'm looking for is why isn't it considered at world class place to hold races!

Also the thing i never understood about FTT is people loved it yet hated the Utah National because it was completely man-made on flat ground

Miami sx sucked, it rained friday and the track was soft. I cased a double and ended my day.
Track layout was fun though

Place was too big for its cliental. The "pro" track was only open one weekend a month because it was too much money in diesel to groom and was not user-friendly. Silly rules when they first opened up drove people away in my opinion. Another smaller track opened up a few miles from FTT and automatically had better attendance.

I wish the place could have worked, it was truly something special to see. The Am track was amazing fun jumps, good dirt. The beach and the bar was just a bonus lol.
