Flo garbage

Edited Date/Time 7/18/2022 12:16pm
Watching on Youtube right now, since Flo is garbage. I signed up today and will probably unsubscribe today as well.

-Footage in slow motion
-Footage and commentary don't line up
-Switches from live race feed to qualifying replay on its own without notice.
-Footage stops mid-race to load

Anybody else experiencing these issues? I cut the cord 12 years ago, and I've never had any streaming issues until this motocross season. NBS Gold/Sports, Peackock, etc were fine for me. MavTV plus and Flo, not so much.

(EDIT: Using FloSports App on Ruku TV, internet speed 130mps)

What are you watching on? It's 720p, but no issues on the Flosports Roku app.

The production is a bit messed up though, went to commercial, cut back to racing in the middle of commentary, then back to a commercial followed by a few seconds of black screen. But when they show the race, there are no issues for me.

I signed up today and am streaming from their website through my Xbox Series S (hard-wired to my modem.) The picture and sound are fine but the page has crashed a few times, which is also what Mav has done. Was curious if this happened to anyone else? I online game and have great internet, so I don't think I have any issues, but figured i'd ask. Maybe ill see if there is an app i can download on my xbox instead of web stream.

No matter how I streamed MavTv plus, it constantly crashed for me. Zero crashes with Flo so far. It's not perfect by any means, but infinitely better than Mav. Using the Flo app on Roku.

130mbs wifi speed, no issues with any other streaming product ever. I cut the cord 12 years ago, so this isn't my first rodeo. Also, how could it be my internet if I'm streaming if flawlessly on Youtube?

Flosports app on Roku is what I was using. Still watching flawlessly on YouTube though since Flo was unsucessful.

It’s a browser issue.

Hmm. Interesting. When Pala was streamed on Youtube, I switched over (as I couldnt get into Mav at the time) and streamed that whole race w/o issue. It was youtube app on my xbox. For today, I figured it has to be something with Flo streaming on their site or Edge browser on my xbox. Not sure. I don't think it's my internet.

Weird. I was the same way, never any problems streaming anything until Mav, now I'm back to no problems streaming (just production hiccups) with Flo. Go with what works, I guess.

Same, when I switched from Mav to YouTube I had zero issues. I was using chromecast at the time, then it took a crap (on an off weekend thankfully), replaced it with a Roku and have had no issues using either it or the android app on my phone.

Congrats on it not being your first rodeo. But generally, at least for me, when streams are slow and not lined up, it’s a buffering issue due to some sort of internet connection issue. Because again, my stream has been fine besides the one break they cut back to another set of commercials. But I would assume that was some clicking the wrong buttons.

Again I'll clarify for people who think I don't have good internet or that I don't know how to use it.

I'm watching on my television, not my computer. I'm using a roku device and the flosports app.

If one product reliant upon internet works, and another products also reliant upon the same internet does NOT work, why would we blame the internet?

The commercials are my only complaint, show them in-between the motos, not during!

Looks great and is fine on my end except the random cut from live feed to a commercial

They’ve switched so many things, and forced me to jump through so many god damn hoops to watch it I just don’t even care anymore. Then they copyright strike all the people trying to livestream the event on YouTube. Fuck them. They aren’t getting my money.

It's probably 3 years old. Is there some version/update or s/n cutoff that my Roku needs to be to work properly with Flo?

I’m having issues on the Roku as well. It crashes and goes to the Roku Home Screen and I have to launch Flo again. About every 7-10 minutes this happens.
It’s the only app on my Roku that does this. Amazing what a shit show this years MX has been.

I'm no expert on it, but apparently they do break down over time? Does everything else work fine on it? I feel your pain, but I'm on the same app having no problems, so it's gotta be SOMETHING.
