On a proper, indoor short track, the 190 wouldn’t be at much of a disadvantage to a 450.

I would agree that a track that has a very limited top speed for the 1st lap or 2 that with a top 3 rider vs say a top 10 rider it will be close maybe. But all things being equal the 450 is gonna square it up low and block it then run away. No amount of carrying momentum is gonna, again all things being equal other than the bikes is gonna keep this bike in front of even a stock 450.

I had the opportunity to take the Sunday Motors 190 for a ride. My local dealer only has 2 left. Pretty cool to see them in person. I’ve never rode any kind of flat track bike so it was fun experience. No I didn’t have proper form or the skill to ride them how it’s designed to be ridden. Haha

Rode one a few weeks ago at Spoaks Motopark. They felt sorry for me running around the outside line with knobbies I guess. You can really get them sideway into the corners but they don't have enough power to pull it through. Some kind of jetting issue with the air filter caused banging out while revving on the straights and I was already in top (4th?) gear so there was nothing to be done. No problem with leg room, didn't realize it even had a rear brake until the last lap and it just messed up my rythm. There were about 5 guys that had them, and that makes it fun, but I want more juice.

190 they go for around $3k. Not too fair to compare to my 480😃

Makes sense. Just never researched enough to put two and two together.
