"Tiny Tomac" could smoke me on a 250F on my best day.

That stings a little to say that, but let's be real.

Twenty-04 was a magical year in amateur motocross.

3,400 entries at the Spring Championship at Lake Whitney. To my knowledge the most entries at one race ever. I helped put the Parts Unlimited sponsorship together for this event, which actually still stands today at the Spring Championship at Freestone.

My son was in the 125 C class. I think he had 120 riders in one class and 140 in another. Was pretty cool that both Marty Smith's and David Bailey's son's were in his class that weekend. Two riders that I looked up to and raced with.

Alessi and Josh Grant were so fast along with a host of others that weekend.
