I know this is silly, but black plastic was all the rage in the 90's and I'm sure there are still some hipster wanna bes that run black plastic. Did we just witness history with the first and second victories for black front fenders?

RC 2002 when they did that Scorpion bike? That was black right? And didn't KW win one with a similar Vegas bike, maybe 04? Feel like you could argue a couple PC bikes maybe too?

I don't think the PC bikes had black front fenders though. I forgot those scorpion bikes.

I think Kyle Lewis ran black fenders on his Honda for at least one of his 125SX wins to protest not getting Honda support BITD.....

Haha I remember thinking that those things looked amazing up close in the Vegas pits. Crazy how much taste changes as we age. 
Are you smart enough to buy a bike that costs less, weighs less, makes more horsepower per cubic centimeter, can be rebuilt for recycled aluminum can money and is giggle inducing? It is hard to believe that the American riding public flunks this test en masse. How stupid are you?

Yea I had the old bookoo Honda graphics back in the day. I thought it looked sooo good at the time, I look now and I’m like hmmm

Don't know if either of them won or not, but didn't Broc Glover and Mike Bell ride black YZ250s in a race in '82? I seem to remember the Yamaha tags on the tank were made of a reflective material, so every time they got hit by a camera flash, it looked like road construction.
