Posted a while back about the Moto scene here in VA got a bunch of solid responses from the locals to the area. Well my wife and I finally made the move last week, we've hit up Morgan's, ECMX and Slade's so far with a guy we met at the track.
Anyway, would any of you vital guys want to meet up with us next weekend May 18/19 I'd like to head to Southfork MX if anyone's interested. All weather dependent of course.

They use to have dirt drags there that was pretty cool to watch, but I don't think they are doing that anymore.
Birch Creek is one of the best tracks I've ever rode.
Anyone down for the this weekend then?
Honestly, Va Beach wasn't that bad, I think my biggest issue was riding by myself. I never found anyone to ride with, and i'm not real social so that didn't help. It seemed like the local scene there was pretty non existent and at the time, being in the Navy felt like a disadvantage when talking to locals. (didn't feel welcome at times) Where I'm from in MI, I grew up with a dozen perfect tracks within 45 min of home, as well as all the trail you wanted. So going somewhere the complete opposite really bummed me out. I lived in a small apartment, with my RM125 in my living room, so I had to look at it every day..
Like I said earlier, Southfork was the goto for me and I think you'd like it a lot. I did the ECMX thing a few times, and when I was there, Budds Creek didn't have a lot of open riding, or I would have went there for sure.
I always wanted to hit Sugartree, and the others on that side of the state.
