I have seen snow in June in Denver but by March and April I already have my sprinklers on and my grass is green. Its not cold so it melts when it hits the ground or just sticks in the grass or trees, March and April are the best racing months. Weather in Denver is the reason I stay. Yes you can get a blizzard any time but I can wear shorts and tee shirt almost year round. Get some cold weeks in Jan and Feb but other than that its awesome weather and local racing usually starts in February.

This, I was waiting for the 'weather in Denver' to come up. I'm pumped we don't have to travel to see a race this year! The weather on the front range is great (except for the hail) except for a few weeks and the random snowstorms sometimes. Other than that, pretty much ride all year long.

We need to quit talking about the great weather in Colorado, we don't want the secret out and any more people moving here. Wink
The word is out. Lived there for 12 years and miss it. Great place to live!!

Why they keep moving Seattle to earlier and earlier dates is beyond me. I am sure there is logic somewhere, but every day they move it earlier almost guarantees a mudder, maybe that is the point.
I hate to be negative but they're freaking idiots Seattle used to always be late April and there was always a good chance of great weather they moved it back 3 weeks this year and look how horrid it is and now they moved it back two weeks from that like you said what are they thinking they don't have a covered Stadium here. They missed the Mariners opening baseball game by one day if they could shove it back 3 more weeks make it have it in the Mariners Stadium and be covered

Fuel cost for everyone is going to be way up. Going to be tough on privateers for sure. But hey, they’ll still show up.

Did you see the attendance?

Surprised nobody has commented on the "triple crown" race format staying at just 3 rounds again. I was under the impression that it wasn't a matter of if they would add more rounds, but how many more they would add

LOL, now it is really obvious to me why the schedule was delayed for release.

They took the first 2 games of the season to watch and evaluate the Arizona Cardinals (football) and said "ain't no way that team is making the playoffs, so sure we can schedule the Glendale SX during the NFL Division Finals. Stadium will be available". If you haven't seen the Cardinals play this year, they SUCK.

Lol.

Note, it's the only football stadium on the schedule that the races occur during the NFL playoff schedule. Oakland is racing during the Bye week between the conf championships and the superbowl. Wildcard games are Jan 5-6, Divisional games are Jan 12-13, Conf championship games are Jan 20th, Superbowl is Feb 3rd.

Funny. I wonder if that's true. Also, what would they have done if the Cardinals started out 2-0?

I wish they would keep supercross to indoor stadiums. They have so many open stadiums it's stupid. I wouldn't be very happy buying tickets for a family then sit in the rain or cold all day. Looks like Arizona it is.

I prefer outside so much better than inside. Totally different atmosphere. But yeah, there's the chance of bad weather...

Bummed they dropped Foxborough MA. The stadium was crowded this year, the weather was bad ass and I would say it was a pretty successful event.

They had them this year but they'll have them again in 2019. I think it'll still be 3 rounds.

Why not watch it on NBC Sports? Do you have some undying loyalty to Fox?

its not any kind of loyaity to fox or any other broadcasting company. its my cable provider that it has to do with it.
last week the SX on nbcsports wasn't authorized for viewing in the cable package i have. when i inquired about it, i was told i would have to upgrade to a "sports package". it would include football, baseball, & basketball, all three i will absolutly NEVER allow in my house or anywhere i am at while i am there.
last night, for what ever reason i was able to watch Glendale on nbcsports, we will see how the rest of the season goes.

side note, i would love to have the military history channel, but it too is only offered in/with "sports packages" .

So you don't want to get NBC sports network because somebody might use it to watch baseball, football or basketball?
