Fill In Riders - time for a change?

I was offered a "fill-in" ride years ago for the Worx and H&H series out west. I had to say no because the only money in it for me was finish money. All sponsor cash went to injured rider (as it should be). I would have had to quit my job and I was no where good enough to earn any finish money. If I'd have been young and single....I'd have been all over that s...ituation. Sorry, nothing to do with OP but needed to ring my own bell.Whistling
