Dean Ferris goes 1-1 at round 4 of the mx nationals held at Murray bridge. Hopefully something comes up so he’s on the line at hangtown.

He has a great day today. Led both races from start to finish with only 2 weeks on the bike.

Ferris shows up with one mxgp race under his belt a couple of weeks on the Ktm and puts it up front by 13 seconds in the first one and almost 5 seconds in moto2, he is just that next level up on the current crop of Aussie guys but I still believe it’s a little to late for Ferris to pick up a ride in the states unless someone gets hurt or he shows up on his own bike.

My guess is he stays in Aus next year and I’d say Raceline KTM will pull out all the stops to get him and he will get another outdoor title in 2020. Indoors he still isn’t quite as strong as others though.

Then, got the fill in for the GPS, that went out the door with a prang and ( I hope just a basic) knee injury.

I hope somehow he gets a fill in ride. The bloke has spent a lot of his own money getting himself out of OZ over the years, never sitting back and wondering.

Whilst it's good we can have a few riders make a good tradesmans wage level living here in Australia (heck, even though we sell / buy only around the 90 to 100K bikes a year, that's not bad with it being about a fifth /sixth of what is sold in the US, with us having around a fourteenth / fifteenth of the population), it"s great to see some of our riders go overseas.

What happend in the last moto today?

1st moto he washed the front end or slide out, 2nd moto hit Clout while going for the pass but I missed the last moto

One of the nicest guys in th sport. Deserves a factory ride in the States.
With so many riders preferring SX only deals, how long before we see Teams signing riders for each. JGR would do well out of Hill SX only & Ferris MX only...

He was about 7thish off the start and I think all his motivation to push hard to try and beat those dudes on that harsh slippy choppy track to win his 'one off' appearance went away.. He ended up 4th
(Weird to say one off when it was two rounds haha)

Man I agree, but I'm quoting you cause your username cracks me up cause a mate of mine used to try and spark up conversations with chicks when we were out by walking up to them and saying "Terrific, Yaself?" haha
