maybe the Aussie supercross was a contractual thing aswell, I’m sure dacka would’ve liked to keep him so maybe this is a bit of a not burning your bridge type move.

And be fucked if I'd be keen to race what? 17 rounds of deathcross before showing my abilities outdoors
When he mentioned in his blog that he had a couple of meetings in California on his recent flying visit to the USA, I was thinking he might get a deal...appears not...so it's a gutsy move.
I'm thinking Yamaha will grab him, probably come the start of mx season 2019, whoever they go with at A1, will be sidelined with injuries by then and the Ferris wheel will be rolling!
That's not a nice thing to say, and its certainly not to be hoped for , but it seems a high probability with this crazy deathcross buisness, so glad he's staying away from that
Or do you think after this weekend he’s not racing at all till next years US outdoors?
Finishes up with CDR after the last sx round here
I’m thinking he’s racing aus sx for two reasons.
1. Contractually for dacka, to try and leave on a good note.
2. To show US teams that despite the fact he’s going over for an outdoor national crack next year, that in the future (ie. 2020 and beyond) he has SX skills and would be a viable option for a full time ride indoors and outdoors.
But if it makes you feel better you won the race to derail the thread so well done champion
