If DF didn’t have motivation to get better starts before, he does now.

DF went full into him while Craig was already in the turn. DF could have left off and made a clean pass next turn.

There’s quite a few people on this board who need to download dictionary.com and bookmark the definitions of fact and opinion.

You never had a #1 plate Cole Seely, so don’t be whining that Ferrandis took your number. The guy that had it before you did, so where does that leave you? You are the one that didn’t do the # justice.

I'm not going to comment on the actual case in hand......but just wanted to take a step back and look at things in a whole.

So weird seeing the comments from guys , as it can shift from week to week. Everyone's hero or some guy they just respected the hell out of , can be hated by people the following week. I'm not talking about Dylan , I'm talking about all the riders. Hero to zero to hero and back and forth , round and round. Kinda crazy.

Poorly timed but racing incident. Tuff Blok made it more violent looking. Osborne won a championship with worse. Change my mind.

Craig was hit mid-bike. There was never any possibility of Ferrandis ever successfully completing the pass. I guess it depends on what you call a racing incident. Too me a t-bone collision doesn’t qualify.

How does one t-bone in a 90 degree corner going the same direction as the other rider? You mean v-bone? He was never going to make the pass there. Bad judgement for sure. We've all done it. That's what makes it a racing incident. I doubt he planned on taking them both out to make the pass.
Yeah v-bone is a better description. It wasn’t a 90 degree impact. Probably something in the area of 45 degrees. I guess I hold the pros to a higher level of judgment. Difficult to reconcile this one and the black flagging of Reed. But then many of the AMA decisions are difficult to reconcile.

I'm with Steve with this one. That move was insane and Ferrandis didn't probably think at all but it would be wrong to hand out penalties for moves like that. That is a very slippery slope.

Are you new to this sport of Supercross? Please watch the many YouTube vids of SX races in the 90’s. And a few of Reed/Carmichael/James Stewart battles.

Dumb move...
He'd have gotten the exact same result with a clean race.
And now he has a target on his back...

Yea! Because track cutting and taking yourself out to lose time are totally the same thing. Huh

Ferrandis pulled a lot of scumbag moves tonight, period.

And for those of you trying to justify them—just stop. He had no chance of making the pass on Craig. He damn near sawed Jett’s front end off twice, then came an inch from colliding in the air with him over the triple.

These things have a way of sorting themselves out... won’t feel bad for him when it happens.

what would your penalty have been for Chad vs Stew at Atlanta, or any of the Bradshaw vs Chicken stuff?

this sort of move has never been penalised,

Yep. It was a douche move. I don’t wish any actual harm to the guy, we have all seen worse. I just hope Craig and the rest give him a taste of his own. I like poetic justice. Also, super bummed for Jett. I was hoping he’d pull it off. What a quick turn of events not only crashing but getting hurt. I hope this doesn’t derail him mentally. Big fan of the kid

Fractions of a second regardless of the ability level. Once you decide to commit there's no going back.

It’s not just Vital, that’s people as a whole. We focus on the negatives and shout about how much we hate things.

I recall a lot of dudes on here saying if one guy goes down it wasn’t dirty, but if both went down it was dirty.

Dude. Shut up. Seely won a 450 main. He justified having any career number.

Man, Glad we didn’t have social media in the 90’s. Dylan set up for the pass on the jump. Did their lines come together? Yes. Did Craig get the ugly end of it? Yes. Was it dirty? No.
Racing has become “pussified”!!! No one wants to touch each other and when it happens, someone cries.
We need more aggressive racing.

The willingness to do whatever it takes is why Ferrandis has a 250 championship and Cole was never able to make it happen, specially against Ando

Yamaha finally got Honda back! https://youtu.be/l3EZEj6aEVQ

While i dont agree with the move, I fully understand it. All Christian had to do was not let him catch him and it never would have happened. A racing incident for sure, a very unfortunate one for christian. Christian didnt deserve what happened, but Dylan did deserve that win.
