Initial reports are that Febvre went down hard and was taken to the hospital. No word on injury yet so I’m speculating here. But if he’s out for des nations, does the French federation tuck its tail between their legs and beg Musquin to ride after the whole fiasco with skipping over him? And if so, does Musquin go race or tell them to pound sand?

I hope Febvre is ok but I'd love to see Musquin race with an American flag painted on his helmet LOL

Not to derail or sidetrack this thread, but has Germany picked their team, and if so, is Roczen on it.
As for the Musquin pick, if I were Marvin, I'd still go, but my intent would be to destroy all the competition and show the French Federation that he should have been picked in the first place.

I would love to Marvin race. But wish he would say thanks but no thanks. Not a fan of Tomac on the team as well after saying no thanks last year. Seems politics comes into play on choosing riders every year.

Seems like you are the one who wants politics with team USA. Tomac said yes this year. No politics involved.

Yea nobody really is but we need a win and this team is a winner. What are we gonna do lose on purpose just cuz Eli said no last year? Not happenin, you put the best team on the track that you can so it is what it is.

Last year's last minute fill in:

Christophe Charlier, the 1st to ever be on the winning team of MXoN and ISDE team the same year.

Yes, that is a Beta, but they don't make a 250f, depending on what they might ask him to ride.

They wouldn't ask him to ride a 250f. Ferrandis is riding the 250f. It wouldn't make any sense to flip flop things around like that. Either way, I think they'll ask Marvin if Romain can't go.

Off topic, but Charlier has some seriously awesome style. I love watching him ride.
