Watch the first lap of the Big6 29 Palms GP from this past weekend. By far the fastest race of the series saw 15/48 gearing on my YZ250! Ended up 2nd Pro 2 and 11th Overall after 1 hour 50 minutes of racing in the 90 degree heat and wind!

I wanted to go so bad but couldn’t make it happen. That race is always so much fun. Great ride. Your bike sounds sick too. Sutherlin posted on I g “fire road nationals , might need 7th gear “. Thought that shit was hilarious.

I'm feeling sympathy pains for your throttle cable...poor thing.

Nice ride!

Woohoo , I've done that one a few times ,ten years ago , definitely the fastest . Luckily they started grading the fire road's after every couple of races. Good ride ,had my heart rate up there with yours ,lol.

I applaud your skill and balls but that race has about everything I hate...blinding dust, rocks and ludicrous speed. I might as well hitch a ride to the race in a hearse cause that's what I'd be leaving in.

I was just about to say that looked like my kind of race....fast...not much dust and virtually no rocks, and hardly any whoops.

Lol

Perspective is everything, right?

Yeah it’s usually only rocky in like 3 short sections and the dust isn’t too bad. Like 60% sand and 40% hard pack. Such an awesome race . So fast you won’t make it 45 mins on a stock tank. Just LIT.
