Format coming up, hopefully.
Crowd noise can make a difference when battling it out for a position. I know it did when I raced in a large stadium with a large crowd. Made a pass for what I thought was the lead and the win, including putting the Maico into the show at the Kingdom last century. My pit board said I was in 2nd when I was really in 3rd. I passed 2nd place on the last lap, last turn... last chance, heard the roar of the crowd with each near pass earlier in the race. And knowing that I just chucked it and pinned it then damn near shit myself when I did. Found out right after that there was no win, no show and only 10 dollars more for the position... 10 fucking dollars, 5 I dollars if you count my stained undies
Anyhoo, my point being is the loud crowd can make a difference to the guy passing for an upfront position. So what can be done in this instance coming up?

There’s arguments for and against. As long as there’s no fans in the stands, why fake it? Leave SX alone. No gimmicks.
As long as there are bike sounds and the announcers are as animated as the usually are, I think it will be fine regardless. I'm just afraid if they try to add fake noise, they will botch it horribly and it will be painful. See: RBSR Engine noise
The one thing that "saves" SX is that in my opinion the fans doesn't add anything. It will basically be like the RDL practice streams and that is fine in my opinion.
Ok I am stocking air horns straigh away !
Reminds of when BMW started piping in fake engine noises thru the sound system on the M5 cars....
Rediculous.
The speakers can chant out the riders names, the more their name gets pushed the louder those cheers get
LOL
Can't see it happening, but no reason it couldn't in this day and age. Virtual crowds coming to empty stadiums around the world.
Pit Row
but if someone happened to give me a brand new one 🤷🤣
Post a reply to: Fairly important factor when it comes to racing SX in the proposed
