my best attempt - Star Racing replica.

Not the usual build but I wanted to share it alongside all of the other super great bike builds that are also posted here!

Hope you enjoy!

Dude,
That is so trick. You did a great job!

Now, refresh my memory. What is a pit bike? I could see a lot of people wanting to do that! Almost, like fad or craze!

Should I feel offended?

"Not the usual build but its a lot more then a shitty graphics kits and powder coat like most bike "builds" I see posted here."

Yeah I kinda feel the same way. The dude comes in on his first post and throws shots out ,lol. And posting bikes that fizzled out 10 years ago. I didn't even know anyone was still building pit bikes or even gave a shit ... I for one ,think most of the builds that have been posted here have been exceptional, Black diamonds most recently. YZweldon, Newmann, and a too many others to mention.
That being said, the pit bike looks decent and looks to be a quality job. However, had it been me, I may have posted a little different intro.......Whistling

I feel like it's a good thing you are in R&D and not marketing.

R&D for a pitbike company? Is that even a thing?

Guess I missed that in the post.

So you skipped the powder coat?

It's a question of the chicken and the egg. Does vital turn grown men into emotional pre-teens or are emotional pre-teens attracted to vital?

I have a serious question.

Why did you go with an under the peg brake pedal rather than one that goes over the peg? Under the peg ones seem to always get bent after hitting rocks, roots, ruts, etc.

I am starting to feel like a lot of Vital needs a safe zone so their feelings don't get hurt. If something doesn't apply to you no reason to get offended by it.......unless you are just a pussy.................to the OP - not into pit bikes much but cool build. How does it ride?..........

The clutch cover on these engines sticks out quite a bit, which was out orginal reason for going under the peg. The brake snake does a good job keeping it from getting bent or broken.

The over top pedals for these bikes flexes a ton in comparison to what we currently run.

Thanks, I am very pleased with how it rides, in comparison to the stock frame, it is much more rigid and solid feeling. its was a fun project that I haven't seen done to a play bike so why not!

"R&D".....aka bolt on specialist.

Nice edit by the way, if you want me to show you how to properly install that seat cover, I'm about an hour north!

Sick build! I did one last year on a 110L, these builds cost a stupid amount of money. I lost track of how many hours I had in it. Stock bore but the head was ported, tranny worked and engine cases powder coated
