Bunch of sourpusses around here.. give him a shot guys!
Love his style on a bike. Don't forget how good he was before he got hurt.

I reckon he'll be fast but for limited laps and will fade hard in the main due to his lack of fitness. Will be cool to see him out there though, so much talent and style on a bike. I often go back and watch this video. Can't help but wonder what his career could have been if it wan't for that fateful crash in '10.

I think it's pretty cool he's getting back into the racing thing. Weather it being part time , or maybe trying to do a full series. I don't expect him to set the world on fire , but man.....he's one of those kinda dudes that can pull a rabbit out of the hat.

I predict a solid qualifying effort hovering just outside the top 10, going to predict 12th. It's a home race, one race deal, might be muddy, crazy things can happen. He should have no problem putting it in the main, and if it turns out to be a full blown mud race, then fitness won't be as much of an issue. I'm predicting 12th-15th purely off his natural born talent, and if it's muddy then sky is the limit.

The last year he was racing, I spoke to him and he had an idea to take a year or two off and comeback and fight for a 250 title. It would have been nice to see him that year not get hurt and keep running that privateer life though.

Good luck to hill , but i really wish for once they would give that 1 privateer who is working so hard for some support a chance . We only have a few companies desperately supporting our blue collar underdogs . We need more !

Someone who can't qualify for the main event is hardly more deserving...

So Blake Wharton 4 years and comes back. Josh Hill 3 years and comes back. Hmmmm maybe Bubba can do 3 years and come back as well. LOL

Name a privateer currently racing with a resume better than Josh Hill.

Sorry in the fine print I should have written "who hasn't burned bridges with every manufacture in the pits causing them to be a privateer."

You have to say , WTF would you hire RV , and then pull a guy out of an office job to fill in for a fill in . Great for Hill, i can see guys turning up and the next few rounds with kit bags on the off chance.

Josh is going to get a top 10 and secure a ride in Seattle, on top of that - before the end of season both Hill's will share a podium together in the 450 class.

Yes, I smoke the good stuff.

Racing is one of the few places left where talent matters over persistence. If you're better, you should get the job. If I'm Yamaha, no way do I care about second rate speed.

Remember when Josh Hill raced his first 450 main back when he was still a 250 guy? He won.

Because RV probably has no interest whereas Hill does? I don't think this is a difficult concept

We were at Matterly Basin this year for MxDN, and I spotted some dude 100' away with QUITE the "hitch in his giddy up"....

Quickly realized it was Josh, and started up a conversation. Cool dude, and a pleasure to talk with. Glad he has this opportunity to enjoy one last hurah on a factory ride!
