The blaster motor appears to be a great fit for that bike

The thing is, If it has been built properly - and that's Big If , it could be a great little bike. With a 19 / 16 wheel combination (looks like smaller, non 'Senior' wheels in the pic) it could be great ride, for a smaller adult.

The funny thing is the guy actually did a pretty decent job on the "conversion". The bike looks fairly clean.

Not even this bike could save him from Cooper's wrath.

The guy makes these in his shop so it's likely well engineered

Not a bad idea for a wife/girlfriend bike honestly, probably a good bit lighter than a crf150r.

I don't know this guy personally but he's a well known and respected member of the vintage mx community here for what it's worth. I think he's done quite a few restorations.

Yamaha produced something like that for years.

The it 175, later to become the it 200. One of the best adult entry level dirt bikes ever.

And it had the "blaster" motor before the blaster ever existed.

I was thinking the same... Upon looking more at it, he used the Honda tank and shrouds because of the girth of the 200 ate up too much room for the stock tank to fit? Just a guess, would like to see some more pics of that taken up close. If put together correctly, could be a fun little scoot to play on.

No kidding. We have a blaster in the shed that we kicked around on the farm as kids. with v force reeds, oil injection deletion kit and a fmf pipe the thing gets up and boogies quite nicely for a fun bike.

They’re basically a DT175 motor with a 200 jug.
