Wasn’t there just a 6.4 yesterday? Or different area? Hope everyone is ok.

it was a big one.

I'm in South Temecula about 150 miles from the epicenter, and my pool sloshed out all over the place. They felt it in Vegas also, it stopped the NBA game at Thomas and mack.

So Cal got rattled pretty good this time...

The news is saying 7.1. All good here. Was in Costco and it sounded like a train outside the building. Lights and all were shaking pretty good. Nothing fell but mother earth was shaking pretty damn good. Yesterday I was washing my truck when it hit and my truck was rocking back and forth so bad I thought someone was effing with me. First earthquake for this coonass from the South. Was weird to me to say the least. Hope everyone else is ok. I am about 150 mi from the epicenter.

Felt it good in south Orange County. It was a slow roller- so not as scary as the sharp jolt type. We stood in a doorway with the kids- it was a good lesson for them, as they hadn’t experienced a long, rolling earthquake like that.

I’m in Lancaster, about 40 miles from Ridgecrest. We were rolling good for about 10 sec. No damage here all is good. 👍🏼

There's so many of them going on right now that the USGS/Caltech link is getting bogged down trying to keep up.

I’m in Carlsbad right now and didn’t feel any of the last 3. I’ve been on bicycle rides or in my car during all of them.

I'm in OC.. well Garden Grove. This one was longer and much more pronounced. This one had a wicked feel to it. We're always wondering if it's gonna be the big one here in this state. For a few seconds.. I wasn't sure. Rock &Roll!

Central Ca. Except for a hundred or so gallons of water being sloshed out of the pool, no effect for me.
If CA gets hit by a big one, it's going to be ugly. This state is anything but prepared for a real disaster.

West LA. Big long rollers like others have said. Longest I’ve felt in 20 years. Hope all those desert folk are ok.

Great. Now even more of them are going to move to Idaho and help ruin it.

Hope all the folks in CA are safe. As someone mentioned above; need to be prepared. Water, non perishable foods, ample first aid kit, radio, flashlight(s)...whatever you think you'll need for 1-2 weeks to keep you sustained in a major emergency. Positive thoughts coming your way.

Thursday seemed like it lasted forever. Yesterday was definitely over faster. I'm ready to get back to normal. We felt aftershocks all night. I'm maybe 6 miles from you.

All good here though. Thursday my daughter had just got in the shower and last night my son had just got in the bath. They had no clue. My daughter said she felt dizzy for a second and my son just kind of looked at me.

I grew up in Ridgecrest and my parents still live up there. Lots of stuff fell off the shelves and plenty of glasses and whatnot broken, but otherwise they're OK. They said the last one (7.1) was pretty intense! A lot of people in the town aren't so lucky, though, and there are a lot of broken gas lines, fires, structural damage, etc.

Glad your parents are OK. Luckily no deaths but feeling for the people that have suffered major damage. Shook like a mofo here. The power of Mother Nature is real

Was out to dinner in Tustin (mid OC) and it was rolling pretty good, much more than Thursday’s did. Lights were swinging and plenty of people weirded out. Like someone else mentioned, for a second this felt like it might be the big one. I cant Imagine what that felt like in the Ridgecrest or even High Desert area.

I wouldn’t say we are not prepared, more people than ever have emergency supplies and generators. Neighbors were going door to door in our neighborhood checking on everyone. The good in people comes out when shit hits the fan.

We have felt each of them up by Lake Arrowhead. I saw a side walk that buckled down in San Bernadino yesterday. But haven't heard of any other local damage.

Are you living up there now?
