As Weege, JT, and Mathes said in the post race MEC wrap show, the Tomac that shows up at the MEC is not the same Tomac who will be at A1. They said most of the riders take the month of September off, then ride a handful of times before the MEC. Supposedly Adam has been riding a lot, trying to get used to the 450.
He spent 7 years in the 250 class.

Pretty sure that's Cooper Webb #175 on the Yamaha. I saw another wider angle shot of that start with KR, MM, AC, ET and CW lined up on the gate in that order, but can't find it now.

AC isn't even the fastest guy in the truck let alone the planet. Adam is an awesome guy in our sport but lets not get carried away.

It kinda just blows my mind that AC is just now moving up to the 450 class when you look at who’s he’s racing there, and he’s still in his early twenties!

There’s 4-450 MX championships in that photo.

Dungey moved up in 2010 and won the title his rookie season, not really that long ago.

I don't think anyone on this side of the pond has much for Eli, consistently, outside. I'm not so sure about that inside. I think AC looked pretty comfortable going fast on the 450. Will it be the same come Anaheim? Time will tell.
