Anyone going to watch this on RBTV ?

Crazy with this event being such a spectacle that there is not at least some chatter going on around it, even if it on the fringe of what the normal conversations are usually on here.

The extreme enduro guys are doing the most interesting and technically advanced riding these days.
Sorry airtime fans, but that's the truth.

Jarvis is such a beast. That event is so physically demanding regardless of talent (talent helps a lot though). Dude is 44 and crushing everyone.

I see Sipes at 64th through check #17 but nothing after that. Sad

Much respect to Sipes for giving this a go. But this type of racing is a whole nother animal. Anyone, and I mean anyone, can ride any motocross or standard harescramble. The Erzberg is crazy hard.

Oh, I hear ya, man! It's a point of reference that even a great rider like Sipes, who OA'd an ISDE, and
I also give great credit for doing this race, is (apparently) that far back.

We need a USA equivalent to Erzberg. What's the closest race like this going on now?

Pastrana finished 11th in his 2nd attempt, which let's face it is pretty far removed from his speciality. All these guys are incredible riders, but Jarvis is something more than that. Amazing.

Think that was 2006 when Jeremy McGrath finished 29th which I thought was really impressive.

Probably the Tennessee Knockout or Last Dog Standing.
King of Motos, but they didn't put it on this year.

I just rewatched the entire race. What a clinic by Grimbo. With such a good start, for him, I knew he was going to eat these guys up. What a legend. Great race by Manni and Mario.

Die Grune Holle was epic as always! The Silent Assassin carved up it like it was a normal trail.

Incredible sport. I love sx/mx but nithing tops these hard enduro events for me.

Bring on Romaniacs!!

How does Jarvis do it? Every year I keep saying the same thing! and every year it inspires me to ride a bit harder...same age.

TP and MC are legends of course but this is not the same Erzberg as back then. Things have become so specialized. That's why I think why you saw that Sipes only got the cp 17. Sanz got to 19.

The race is significantly harder now than it was in 2012 and so much more difficult than 06. Might and day.

For the record, I think Grimbo's TE300i is the most bad ass sounding bike ever. It flat out grunts!!!

Love this stuff

Trials riders dominate this event. Carls Dinner had a lot of unhappy customers. That section gets bigger every year. The start right into that rocky pile was mean. Hope Cody Webb can show up in top form next year and win. Haaker, stay home. No team mate going to block the field so you can win.
