Only $10 for all 2024 SX, MX, and SMX series (regularly $30).
Nice bike, and I am sure great craftsmanship, but the steel rm125s were great bikes

2 x EMX 150f Champion ( I've little time for the class itself, it being a sop to Honda, complete with the moronic presenting of the Manufacturers Trophy at each round - but the Kid(s) themselves are alright by me).
My assumption was that he earned 1 or perhaps 2 seasons of backing by Honda in EMX250, with winning the series.
To walk away from that, to get on a 125, shows a hell of a commitment to his development as a rider. I can't imagine Honda will 'hold' his won backing for when he goes to 250s, though, wonders may never cease.
He looked like he sprouted a bit in the last few months whilst up on the dias after getting third on the weekend . But, as he was besides Gianlucca Fachetti, that might have just been an illusion.
He's an impressive young bloke, a great rider, and he handles the after race interviews better than many long time Pros.
MBR here, a fellow Finn(?) I think has been fairly involved with the young blokes efforts.
Emil has grown about 5 cm in just a few months, but his dad is quite short so he probably won't be over 170 cm ever. We won the EMX150 series twice with him along with him. Emil is a nice guy and the hardest working junior rider I have ever met, so barring the injury he will be championship contender where ever he goes.
About the EMX150 series, it is really good place for these kids to show what they are made of in front of all the EMX & MXGP teams without spending a fortune. When everyone is riding equal equipment the rider makes all the difference. Without EMX150 series Emil would not have had chance to race in Europe due economical reasons and now after proving his speed there, Emil had a few manufacturers after him with multi year contracts.
The dude is such a talented and hard working guy that he will do great things in the future.
But, I have to admit - well, I've always said - I despise Honda's 'purchase' of a class. I'd rather see them cut the BS, and compete with other manufacturers and make 85s and 125s again. But, we all know that isn't ever going to happen : Honda = All Four Stroke, All the Time.
PS - I own and ride a few Hondas, among various other brands, so this does not come from the perspective of a 'Brand Boi'.
Are you able to shed some light on Emil's seeming walking away from the EMX 250 Honda support, other than the entirely logical thing of his size and transitioning through the classes? 125 racing is a great thing to go through, and to assist the sports health.
As far as the decision to go ride Suzuki, I really don't know what they were thinking but I feel it was his managers idea. I talked with his dad on Sunday and seems that things could change in a hurry...

Motors can come from Suzuki as I have seen some Yamaha "Team" engines and different frames for YZ125 that look almost like production ones but are team only stuff.
Pit Row
Emil is riding the EMX125 series, in prep for his move to the EMX250 series, where Suzuki will have him on a new 250 2 stroke
And, by the time he moves up to MX2, the BS rules will have been dropped, and there will be equivalency in all Pro Level racing. I forget how old Emil is, but if the 23 yr old rule is still in place then (another BS rule that needs to die), it might be as many as 7 years away until he would be forced up to MXGP.
Hey, I might have just started a bit of BS, myself. Does that mean I'm now a fully fledged 'Vitard' ?
