I really like Emig, he must be aware of all the hate he gets which I can’t understand and seems to have stepped it up.
As for Ralph ,he needs to go. It’s come to the point that his voice annoys me.
He is the weak link and brings Emig down with him.

Emig is a great addition to the commentary team.

Credit where credit is due. I felt that this was his best performance this season.

I felt bad for Emig when Ralph cut him off when he tried to explain the goggles. Even worse when Ralph tried to explain what a swingarm is Blink

Daniel Blair is the star. Race day live interviews are always good with great questioning of guests. For example like when the deadliest cast were on.

Yeah I agree. Emig knows a ton, and truthfully a great guy. Ralph is a great guy as well, but for fook sake. Somebody needs to tell him to zip it at times and let the guy who is a past champion actually explain the things he is supposed to. I absolutely love it when Ralph cuts through Emig and starts to explain it as if he has the same amount of experience.

Maybe the slower pace of action makes it easier to narrate live tv.

Honestly, I'm fine with Emig's commentary. The only minor issue I have is how often he says "right" after stating something. It's his go to filler word between sentences/thoughts. Still, I'd be a bumbling idiot trying to do his job, so whatever!

He was definitely more aggressive last night and it was good to hear. The best part was his tweet acknowledging the drinking game then like 15 or 20 minutes later I swear to God he said "FEET ON THE PEGS" very deliberately. I had a good laugh.

Like a lot of us older riders, Jeff grew up in the era of "racing rain or shine" and it must pain him to see our top professional riders flounder about in the mud. He had to be frustrated at what he was seeing. He knows how to ride in the mud. Most of today's guys don't.

Mud is just like every other type of terrain. If you don't ever ride on it the odds are good that when you have to do it, you're gonna suck at it. Last night pretty much proved it. How predictable was it that Plessinger was going to wax the 250's with a background in GNCC?

I enjoyed the story they related from DeCoster about taking every chance he could to ride when it was wet so he would know how when it was time to compete.

I laughed at Emig when he tried to explain how he used to relax and recharge by going to the river to jet ski and ... well... he used to do other stuff there as well but just glossed over that part Tongue

I like Emig and, as a guy with a speech/hearing impairment myself, have mad respect for him doing what he does.

Emig loves a good mud race apparently. He was pretty pumped in the booth, almost thought he wanted to be out there. I enjoyed hearing more of him, less of that dribble out of that stooge Ralph's mouth.

Emig is a bad dude. Outdoor and indoor champ. Mucho respect. But he got a little carried away with the feet on the pegs in the mud over and over and over.

he never once mentioned the reason they DO sit down is because the rut is 2 ft deep and pulling their boots OFF the pegs
