Even if you don't like him you have to admit when he rides like that it is awesome to watch. Will be boring when he is gone.

Wonder if they made some changes to the bike or is it just one of those nights he was feeling it? Only reason I think they may have made some setup changes is because he looked like a completely different rider than he did at the first two rounds.
He did say after the qualifier that he felt comfortable and it was like "a breath of fresh air". So that makes me think he was not happy with the bike prior.

But I also think the track being one he could pass on made a huge difference. Last week he struggled to get past the faster guys.

Congrats to Eli for A2 Victory!

All I can say is I hope none of these guys get injured and we get to enjoy this show every Saturday night for the entire season!

Eli seemed to change his approach to racing last year in the outdoors; Apparently this is the new Tomac M/O?

What we learned last night is Eli clearly has the speed to be the 2020 SX champ and that he still wants it pretty badly.
IF only Eli could consistently nail the starts . . .

Rides like last night are what make it hard to be Eli I’d think. He’s so incredibly fast as times that he looks like he’s riding with B/C guys then when he doesn’t murder everyone next time, people go “what’s wrong with him”. He does appear to be riding smarter now though. BB 4 does the same thing, just not as often as Tomac. A healthy Tomac, Roczen, and Webb will be a treat coming up though.

As a huge fan of Eli Tomac and Kawhi Leonard, it was a great night.

Great night of racing overall.

Triple crown gonna be very interesting.

his problem was getting 18th or 22nd when he didn't win.

If the track suits Eli, he's untouchable and wins. If not, he doesn't and that's why I think he's Mr Inconsistent.

You take RC in his day. Didn't matter the track and if it suited his riding style. He read the track like no other and won consistently.

That said, Eli smashed it Saturday and it's good to have various winners each week for the points chase.
