Eli has signed a new contract.
Looks like it might be sx only.
Anyone know if it's for mx also?

Sx doesn't acknowledge outdoor mx so this means nothing. Can't see Eli being an sx only guy anyway lol.

Maybe got to spin some laps on the new model that has a cable clutch I reckon. I want to see him keep racing

I'm fairly certain they advertised for it last weekend. Monster became the official drink of the series so it's not a conflict of interest anymore.

They showed the outdoor national schedule tonight during the broadcast and talked about it being the 50th season.

Agreed. Sounds like indoor only at the moment or Eli definitely would not have said that.

I’m a huge fan but if he is SX only next year that’ll be pretty disappointing. I understand he’s gotta do what’s best for his career but as someone who enjoys watching outdoors more than SX I selfishly want to see him race, and I already don’t have the highest hopes for this year.

Am afraid that we're going to see more of this.

Even IF Tomac is SX only next year, what’s to be disappointed about? At least we still get to see him race.

After the titles he’s racked up and the age he’s at, we’re lucky he doesn’t call it a career and sail off into the Colorado sunset, never to be seen again.

World supercross will be a major blow to any elite riders in the outdoors.

Obviously we all hope he does both SX and MX but at least next year is his 14th as a pro. It’s not like he hasn’t put in the time. Still selfishly I hope he does more moto.

He'll be outdoors this summer, then SX only for 2023 to defend his title.

I think this makes a lot of sense. He tries to get a third SX title, which would put him way up there on the all timer list. Much more than another outdoor title.
Afterwards he would have the summer to do whatever he wants: retire, race a few MXGPs OR the world Supercross series and make a s..t ton of money.

I don’t think the world SX will be much more than second tier AMA guys and Australian’s
