Yes, ET is a hypocrite, as many racers are.

Back to KTM, only thing MM did wrong was making it obvious when pulling over.
(And jumping into RDs line for a sketch pass, when RD and ET are only ones in last two rounds of title fight)

Only thing Joey did wrong was waving his arms to tell the world he is letting ET buy.

All racers are racing for their personal victories. But when it gains you nothing but costs your team, you are wrong.

He would’ve gotten Joey either way. Joeys a dummy for making it so obvious. What a kook.

it's really different because musquin took points from someone. zero sum.

all tomac/savage did was take a little more money from a poison dealer. noone lost out. noone else was going to collect any more money. savage will be taken care of for missing the moto win.

if it makes you feel any better, 25% percent of it will be collected by the feds to prop up inefficient social programs!

Savatgy should have washed his front end in a slow corner.

Given his history nobody would suspect anything.

Are team tactics ok on this occasion?
Haha I’d say yea. No title on the line. Just a one off race where the benefits are huge for letting a teammate by easy vs putting up a fight for pride. Hardly even a comparison

I disagree. If you're going to do it, own it. Don't pretend otherwise.

As soon as Joey looked over 2 laps prior, he was immediately slowing down a bit early coming into corners and looking around a lot. If they weren't teammates, Joey wins that race by 3+ seconds.

This is not the same situation. What Mavin did had the potential to mess with a championship.

What’s the difference? It all comes down to money in the end

We have already been through this.....it’s either ok or not ok to fix a race, unless you happen to be a fanboy of course, then it’s only ok when ‘your guy’ does it.

I was super impressed with Joey and I think he has a good season ahead of him but man what a bullshit way for the race to end. I'm glad they booed the shit out of it. I like Eli but after all the endless bitching he did about Marv moving over for Dungey he loses a lot of credibility with me.

You guys got this all wrong. Joey learned his lesson the first time. He wasn’t bout to hit the deck again over winning a race. He’s thinking career longevity here, gotta stay healthy.

More like 40% for Eli, plus CO state tax.

Eli would have got him either way......Joey will be compensated handsomely I’m sure. There isn’t a “team” out there that wouldn’t have done the same in the situation........it’s an off-season money race. No points, who really cares. Dungey/Marv was in an intense point paying TITLE fight.....no harm no foul, plus it’s a win for the kid.

It's either okay or it's not. For me it's fine, as long as you don't cry about it for almost a year. I'm sure Eli has zero problem with it in this situation

It’s way different than marv/Dungey it’s astonishing how people are even trying to make that connection. No points or championship on the line, Eli would have won either way. The only difference is they are getting more money from monster, and they changed a kids life....wow so horrible

Just curious on what people expected Tomac to do? Stop on the track and say thanks but no thanks?

It's exactly the same thing. Regardless of whether it's a million or a Championship on the line, it's still switching riders to get the best possible outcome for rider and team. To say you can't make a connection between the 2 is moronic

I'm just going to copy and paste this because this is all that has to be said...

You really should read an itemized tax breakdown of where your money goes.

*hint: only a small percentage goes toward the stuff you complain about

He didn't take anything from someone else. Dungey took points and a title from another rider in a CHAMPIONSHIP. Tomac was in a single money event where he was winning the event no matter if Savatgy pulled over or not. He didn't cost anyone else a chance at anything and he changed a kid's life in the process. Y'all are ridiculous.
