Uhhhh who won the past 2 MX titles? This SX series ain’t over either. Only 16 down. One bad race for any of the guys ahead of him and it’s super close again.

sure doesnt look good.. maybe his back? looks like hes just riding around at 90%. but last year he didnt go on a roll unitl round 7.

Gets a start finally and then that happens. Damn.

|

Odd . . .

Thanks for sharing. This thread is exactly what vital needs. We don't have enough threads like this on here already.

I used to think I was indecisive, but now I'm not too sure.

That was pretty bad. He finally got a good start, didn't quite have the edge on speed over Roczen and Musquin and slashed it down. Got up slow and held 6th behind Seely for a good 3 laps at a decent pace, then just started getting frieight trained by Wilson, Barcia, Plessinger, Brayton, Reed and Hill. He got one spot back when Hill went down.

Definitely a choke.

|

Mentally he needs help.. maybe should take some adderal or something so he doesn’t lose focus when he crashes?

|

2/16/2019 8:47 PM

Somethings wrong with him. He comes out dominating in monster cup and now cant reel off wins after he broke his back. I dont believe hes healed yet. Another sx season going into the hands of someone else. Sure, hes made up 16 points before, but hes not the same eli from 17 or 18.

If it keeps going like this id imagine he’ll make the decision to sit and be healthy for outdoors

Someone at ME Kawasaki needs to give that kid the belt.
A champion doesnt start to drag an anchor around after a couple bad laps.

|

2/16/2019 8:53 PM

I'm just going to blame the bike.

|

No brains, No headaches.

2/16/2019 8:57 PM

Last time he crashed at A1last year and went backwards after crashing he hurt his shoulder. Wonder if he’s hurt.

|

2/16/2019 8:57 PM

Not a good points night for Eli.

A guy like him should always be moving forward and limit the damage. Flood gates opened in Dallas instead.

|

2/16/2019 8:59 PM

Maybe he shouldn't have said he's 100% after that win, seems to have gone backwards since...

|

2/16/2019 9:03 PM

100% injured. No other reason can be brought forward. Nothing else makes sense.

Herlings in the head syndrome, he did beat Reed though

I’ll have to rewatch it, but it seemed like a minor tip over. Wonder if he tweaked his back or possibly his leg?

|

2/16/2019 9:07 PM

Tomac came in to his mechanic a few times during the 2nd practice session today. Saw him pointing at the front end (or at least that’s what it looked like from the seats) and shaking his head a lot. I thought it might be a long night for him.....

|

2/16/2019 9:09 PM

He's a light switch, and right now he's off....wait until he finds those magical suspension settings again, he'll be back on...

The guy is a mental midget on a supercross track. I keep hoping he will get over it. But he keeps making a mountain out of a molehill with everything he has to overcome.

Hes not completely out of it yet. But his SX history is a very good reason to doubt him.

If we are looking at the last 2 years history, he always has a terrible night around round 5-7. Then he takes off on a run for the last 2/3 of the season. Still some hope left i guess

OP is a poser, dismiss all comments made by a fan of Ribbon twirling Champion from here on out

I prefer Eli toesmack. He for sure bounced that toe all the way through that corner.

^^Agreed.

It was not even a crash, just a tip over. Not sure what that was about.
