I just can't wrap my head around why Anderson would make such an aggressive pass on Marv midway through the race ,he clearly knew he was faster than him, and Anderson and K-roc had a good clean last two laps of racing.

I kinda felt the same way too, but what if he had waited longer to pass him? Would he have caught K-Roc at the end had he waited? In the end, Anderson did what he had to do to extend his points lead, friends be damned lol
It was aggressive for sure , but Marv could have checked up. He didn't at all.....BUT Anderson did stick it in there pretty quick. Marv probably didn't expect it......but should have.
And there goes Jeffro. One of God's own prototypes. A super high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

It was racing. Anderson has a championship to win and his closest competitor was in front of him.
It's not bitching it's an observation. I think it's great there is tension between the two and it will make the rest of the series a little more interesting. It's just We have seen much less aggressive passes by Anderson on others this year is all. Plus Marv and anderson have had two seasons of racing together and it's always been clean. Maybe the dunge was a buffer between the two.
Exactly.
In pro racing, you shouldn’t have any friends after the gate drops. Pass them, take them out, whatever it takes. Nice is for golf.
This whole “bros” thing seems to be new. I guarantee Hannah, Johnson, Ward, Bradshaw, et al didn’t give two shits who you were if you stood between them and money/points.

I like it haha. I just think I'd want that one egg on my side if shit gets a little tight when it comes to vegas
They're on different teams whether they train together or not. One of them has the red plate and a championship in sight, the other has a snowball's chance in hell at the championship. When there is an opening, you take it. Simple as that.

Yes but the old days are behind us. Everyone rides and trains together now and I think it makes for cleaner racing but it's still aggressive like its a practice day. I just like bench racing and hearing opinions.

yea but winning a championship means minimizing enemies made
It was aggressive. But it was the right thing. Look how much he won by. Another lap behind Marvin means a 6 point swing to Roczen.
He took the line away. Aggressive yes. Dirty no. Dirty is coming in half a second later and cleaning out Marvin’s front wheel.
Old MXer turned Superfan.

Agree!
Marvin hit Anderson, not the other way around.
Anderson simply took the line. Marvin should have checked up and cut inside, like Barcia and Seely did a half dozen times during that race. It's just basic Pro SX racing 101.
Anderson would have got the OK from Bob Hannah for that ride. He was wild, hanging out and got the win. Fun to watch. Lots of these races are snoozers. Not that one.

Wasn’t dirty but definitely not the sort of pass you put on someone you expect to talk to after the race. It was so late in the corner there is no chance Marv could have checked up, mentally he was already out of the corner and hitting the next take off
Dirty is when you blow the guy off the bike, that did not happen. Anderson gave Marvin on wear to go and Marvin fell over. Verry little contact.

You should stop watching SX and start watching table tennis games

Not dirty, but not a buddy pass either.
1. It doesn’t seem like they’re buddies anymore
2. There’s are no buddies when the gate drops. Too much at stakes to be nice with buddies anyway.
3. Taking a few laps to pass Marvin wouldn’t have put him in a position to win the race

Nothing wrong with that. He didn't tbone him, no one got hurt.
But the days of them being training buddies on Aldons program got the final nail in the coffin.
lmao whoever complains about that pass is a bitch. He was simply faster and he didnt harm him at all, he had the momentum, he had the line and he took the line. Rubbin is racing
Agreed.
But it’s like this: “winning is a great deodorant”
He won. Doesn’t matter how he got there.
