I have about 1.5 acres of backyard that I want to put more of a pit bike track on, still make some jumps fun enough for the bug bike but wanted some opinions on “pit bikes”
Without owning a 110 yet. Am I better off getting into a suron or something like that that could be just as fun to ride the backyard with. All mostly smaller jumps. I also have a sneaky trail system near my place that could be perfect on a good e bike

Is noise an issue? I have no experience with the Suron bikes, but if noise ain’t an issue, 110’s are great bikes. Very little maintenance, pretty quiet, and great resale value.

If you are mechanically inclined, you can take a kx100 and put an electric qs motor in it. Don, on Alta Owners Forum built one. I rode it and it rips. Perfect for a personal property track.. Even a regular track, very fun. He can build you one too.

If you want something a hell of a lot faster than a 110 this EMX 14 will do it, they also have cheaper options that are ready to run rather than a conversion kit:

Even at 1.5 acres, noise carries. Especially when you have multiple 110s running at the same time. I have about the same size backyard with a decent pit bike track. Most of my neighbors are cool, but there’s one that’s on edge. If there’s an electric equivalent that isn’t outrageously priced, that’s something I’d pursue.

Sur Ron's are perfect for what you described. Lots of upgrade options too. Not cheap though.

The Electro Braap motor is what I referenced. For a beginning rider, I think the qs motor would need to be detuned for awhile. It rips.
