Have a two and half year old that does really well on his balance bike. Want to get him and electric balance bike, but the ride stacyc price is steep. Is a ride stacyc worth the 650? Also has anyone bought a revvi electric balance bike? Trying to sell the wife on the ride stacyc. Thinks it’s dumb. Thanks.

Bought the 12” for my son when he turned 2, he was riding it before his 3rd bday. Turns 5 this summer and it’s still getting ridden almost everyday. Well worth it

I have 2 of them. Yes, they are worth it. Throttle control is a rather fundamental skill.

I have 2 as well and they are awesome. They are quite durable and hold their resale value as well.

My little guy and all his buddies in the neighborhood flog his 16 inch Stacyc every day until the battery is dead. Well worth the investment.

Our twins have a 16E..I’ve been a bit on the fence with it, but overall happy we have it.

On the road the battery lasts for a long time, in fact when my wife goes on an hour long jog the kids will follow her the whole way. Plenty of battery capacity/plenty of speed.

Off road, not so good. I mowed a track on our land to the shortest height on the mower and the battery life is rather short and the bike over heats often. Whereas the PW50 just keeps going and going..

Our 3yr old loves his Stacyc 12. Wants to ride it every day. I was on the fence too due to the cost since you can get a used PW for the same price, but honestly I’m happy I went with the Stacyc. Even though we have 3 acres, we’re in a residential neighborhood and it being virtually silent is a big plus. Seeing his face light up every time we go in the garage to get it and the smiles while he’s riding and knowing that he “gets it” and feels the joy that only riding can bring was well worth the cost IMO.

It’s worth it. They can learn the basics and the crashes are a lot safer. There’s always the chance he could wreck and not want to ride again because the pw is a lot faster and heavier. Electric bike is lighter, you can adjust the speed and it won’t burn him if he gets caught under it. Tell her the safety is 50 percent better and she might agree. Plus it will be worth 450 when u sell it

Stacyc is running a special right now. Free additional battery with the purchase of a bike. The 12 inch comes with a 2 amp battery, the 16 inch comes with a 4 amp and the additional battery offered is a 5 amp. Retail value is $164. You get a few more minutes out of the 5 amp. All 3 of the batteries are interchangeable on both bikes.

Average run time is around 45 minutes. Charge time is also around 45 minutes. If you have two batteries the bike can go all day with one on the bike and one on the charger.

There is no comparison of the quality between the Stacyc and the other copies that have recently came out. The Stacyc is clearly better by a long shot.

...or do both? We got a $25 Huffy Alien bike from Craigslist that my boy loves. He also loves riding the 12" Stacyc that Vital provided to him (we're sponsored, or something).

Sometimes we go for a bike ride around the block; sometimes he messes around with his "motorcycle". It's nice to have both.

My son went from a balance bike to a 12 StacyC at 2. Now he is 4 and has a 16 inch StacyC that he rides in the backyard and a PW50 he rides at the track. We also got him the KTM 5 E but he is a little small for it.

We are working on riding a peddle bike now. I want something that has a throttle because my father-in-law is buying him a pw50 soon. I think it’s important for him to know throttle control before he gets on a dirt bike.

2.5 years old. Stacyc is very well worth it. They are also giving away a free battery with purchase right now. Go for it.
