What’s everyone using nowadays? My current 15 year old gas Troy-Bilt 2.7gpm/3000psi has finally given up. Would like to get something similar. Prefer a higher flow versus pressure. Any specific recommendations?

I bought a Green SunJob online for 149.00 and its amazing. Cheap and powerful. The GPM is what I was after. I have detailed 1000's of cars so I have had a few of them and wore them out. Its solid.

Also had them at Menards for around the same price.

I have a Ryobi and It works great. I even use it to clean the bird crap off my driveway after it gets baked on the ground.

I bought a karcher and it lasted about 3 months piece of junk and it did not run smooth at all. I have this one and it is the best one I have ever had.

I borrowed a green Harbor Freight E-washer and it wouldn't even turn my front tire. Sooooo, i'd avoid one of those.

Another vote for the SunJob, I've had mine for 3 years, and it works like a champ. Good power, super easy to use, and just plug and play.

Green Harbor Freight one on sale for $70 almost 2 years ago... Still going strong! I'm more than happy to work with 1750psi and not have to worry too much about seals/bearings (though I obviously still avoid spraying sensitive areas directly).

Same here. Buy the warranty for it. If it breaks, they replace it no questions asked.

I have a Karcher K2, a good machine that's lasted me years and taken a beating. I had a Bosch's prior to that but it didn't survive the MX lifestyle...

The best pressure washer pumps are made by AR (Annovi Reverberi). They make complete units and also sell pumps to other manufacturers. Most of the problems with pumps is the lack of maintenance and after you use any pressure washer you should drain the water out of them and not let the water sit in the pump. If they sit for an extended period of time corrosion will damage the insides of the pump and also hard water can cause considerable damage. If you buy a cheap one and maintain it you will probably get some good use out of it. If you want quality then find something with a Honda or Subaru engine using the AR pump. For most dirt bike applications 3000 psi is great and if you are careful you can certainly use one more powerful. A 3600 psi model with the most powerful tip will cut through your seat cover! Last note... China dominates the pump industry and small engine industry so its vary hard to know what quality you are buying so I would always buy a brand name from a company that will be in business down the road for parts and service.

I use Kärcher K3.

I personally do not recommend (doesn't seem to be available in US). The rotating pencil jet (or whatyamightcallit) is prone for getting stuck/clogged and the block is prone to crack. I use it few times a month but from guys using it weekly-ish i got the same response.

I had bad experience with Kärcher products overall but maybe i had bad luck.

I have this same unit. Works great on the bike, siding and vinyl fence. Zero issues.

I concur on the Karcher. Mine didn't even last a year before it was leaking and the soap suction stopped working.

I have over 5 years use from my 99 dollar green thing from Lowe’s! Still works fine but the the cord is wasted and need a new one soon, I feel good about the 100 dollars for the use I have gotten out of it and will replace with another one like it soon!
