I hope he does it.

My feeling though, if he's even talking about not doing it - he's not totally committed & probably won't.

That interview said exactly what I expect. If he's going to be on the track, you will see 100%...maybe 110% effort Wink

Everyone talks about personalities and he is the kind of personality I want to see in the sport. Gives 100% on the track, he's on the track every race, tells it like it is off, but never just acts like a prick.

It's just my (useless) opinion, but maybe he should try to do a 250F series if the AMA will let him. He's not used to four strokes generally and 250Fs are at aleast a little more similar to a 250T, the sport has changed some with the 450s, and it would be a tragedy if he went out there and got hurt bad. And a 250F series is only 1/2 the length of the 450 series.

6 years off, stock bike with store bought parts and suspension the anyone have have done at MB1 and still score a 3rd in the heat race and 8th in the main. Give him a solid bike with good testing time and he will no doubt be consistant top 10 with all the heavy hitter in SX. I would say a 5th place on average and a podium with the right scenario.

I agree as well, but he would need to be a on a solid team like PC, Gieco, TLD or Star to go after the reults he wants.

I would like to see him back out there no matter what. He seems very determined and I think he can do well.

Good luck dude!

no desire to run around in 8th place? Then he should pick up the tennis racket.
I'm a huge Ezra fan, but he's no Bret Farve.

stock bike with a high compression piston and suspension testing over the phone I say he is the man. I was talking with JS7 and we were both like dude Ezra is crazy, he would be better off showing up at Anaheim 1. It's the truth. That small track on a stock bike and hasn't even done a local race in 5 years I say he adapted super fast. If you guys could only see him on his Kawi on a real SX track you'd get a better picture. here's to hoping some things fall into place because deep down Yogi wants to race really bad...

hopefully we will get to see him at A1. Tell him if he runs SX I'll see him at the Houston Taco Cabana...I'll even buy him a taco. Don't know if he'll remember it, but we ran into him there two years in a row years back.

He doesn't want to go out and race for 8th place??? Hell, if he does sx, he will be racing for 18th. Sad but true.... I like Ezra, but seriously, know when to call it a career.

It would be awesome to see him out there again, he was always one of my favorite riders back in the day. I would love to see him at Atlanta so he could sign my shirt again, my mom washed his autograph off the shirt I had signed in 99. lol.

I agree with that also. I know Yogi isnt a noob, but these guys are hauling azz on the 450Fs and its a whole different level of speed than the old daze.

I didn't say he wouldn't make the main, I said he would be lucky to make the main. Which he only made the main one night, so it's not like was way out there with my thought..Had a few more riders shown up, he wouldn't of made the main either night.

Again, you show me who he is going to beat, to do better than 8th..

JBS
Dungey
Short
Tedesco
Windham
Byrne
Hahn
Reed
Milsaps
Josh Grant

There is 10 just off the top of my head, you tell me who he beats?
