If any of you are looking for some good classic racing to watch, I highly recommend rewatching those early 2000s GPs on youtube. Such great history at a time when 450s were coming on the scene. The AMA nationals during this time are a treat to watch as well. Just watched a few GPs from the 2003 season. A few takeaways...

-Mickael Pichon on his RM250 is amazing
-The tracks are epic...such diversity
-Stefan Everts does NOT sit down...literally
-Everyone has such a smooth, slower-is-faster style
-40 minute motos on those brutal tracks is inspiring

I've been watching the 2004 mx1 series and 2001 open class. The commentary is in French I believe. Good stuff. I've actually been watching a lot of old moto . GPs , SX , AMA , whatever I can find.

Pichon was known as ‘the rocket’ for a reason, when he was on it was something to behold.
