GP of Brazil will have TWELVE regular GP riders on the line for the 450 class and NINE regular 250 guys .
Can you imagine going to a national where you could throw the gates on one side of the doghouse away and every rider there could still fit on the gate ???
We need hastags here so I can: #loungosucks #wasteoftime #GPjoke #whybother #retarded.

Hint: It's still less than half a gate.
While I think GP's have great riders & teams the series is being run into the ground. It's a damn crock the series will end outside of Europe in the first place. I find it disrespectful to the whole series.
-Ryan Villopoto
No one who says this actually believes it. It's backfill rationalization, with a shot of "We're better anyway." What is begged here is the question why more qualified riders don't show up and fill the gate.
And, in this case, it doesn't mean there will be less riders, just more locals and potentially more dangerous lappers.
I've checked the MXGP & FIM websites, but they have no link to sign-up info.

But I meant does anyone know how tto sign up to RACE, not watch on tv..
If Tixier goes 1-1 next week in Brazil (50 points) then he will be 7 points behind Herlings going into the last GP. If Herlings doesn't race.
If Tixier also goes 1-1 at the last GP in Mexico that would put him 43 points clear if Herlings didn't race.
Therefore Herlings needs to earn 43 more points if Tixier cleans up over the last four races - a tall order, given the closeness of the competition behind JH. (It's not 44 because if they tied then JH would win through more Moto wins). So that's 11 points per race (10th) if he races both of the last two GPs, or 22 (2nd) if he just races the final GP.
If Tixier doesn't win out, and only goes, say, 2-3 in the last two GPs (84 points) then Herlings only needs 27 more points. That's 7 points (14th) in all four motos or 14 (7th) across two motos if he just races the final GP.
That's really quite a mountain to climb for JH, but made slightly easier by the fact that there aren't many good riders entered. There might conceivably be less than 15 finishers in those last two GPs.
It's all in the hands of Tixier. If he finishes strong then it's too much of a handicap for Herlings, in my opinion.
If Tixier chokes, then Herlings' title is stil within reach.
(Kinda sucks if Herlings win the championship by just circulating in a 14 rider GP line-up.)
It's all in herlings hands, if he can put enough pain aside to ride the last 4 Motos (do the jumps and cruise around to tenth) than it's all up to him. Tixier needs to pray the pain is to much..

good way to help spread the word
The leaders will be lapping into the top 10. That would never happen in the US.... Would it?
