Not saying it's the case with these but I've purchased goods from China and HK which must've cost more to post that the cost of goods. Fucking weird!

Just brought them and to be fair shipping from China to UK is normally fairly cheap. That's if it turns up and doesn't get lost in transit. Everything's backed up through PayPal so if they dont turn up should get a refund.
14 quid cant really complain
See if there actual boots when they turn up ??

They weren't branded items. Safe to say a very high percentage of cheap branded items from that region are though.

Don’t waste your time. You’ll get your money back, but you won’t get any boots.

|

It’s worth a shot if using PayPal. They are advertised as Garne so if they are not it’s easy enough to file a claim with PayPal and as a buyer you are guaranteed they will be in your favour.

Mine are due between 8th-18th May so will come back to this when I have them

DTR380, how can you think it is real??

Look at their feedback. Do you see how many positive feedback they have from Hong Kong members that are no longer registered? Look at how many feedback are on the people that gave feedback. Almost all are low numbers.

Bad idea. I have lots of experience with ebay. 100% scam. Bet they delete the listing long before the date the boots are supposed to arrive.

For those people stupid enough to knowingly buy these fakes, I hope that Paypal don't give you your money back.
Why on earth would you give good money to fake producing scum?

These types of ads aren't always a scam. There has been a few auctions, throughout my Ebay years, where a massive listing price error is made by someone who is unfamiliar with their product. It could also be an error in the way the calculated the currency exchange.

Sometimes you pay the cheap price and actually get what is listed due to the fact it was listed under the wrong price and no on catches it. Sometimes they realize the mistake and refund your money before shipping. It just depends.

Normally with items like this, it is worth the gamble to "buy it" and see what happens due to the buyer protection rights Ebay has.

I have scored a few smokin deals over the years with ads like this.

If it's "worth a shot", then why don't you buy every pair he has then?

Because you can only buy a max of 2 pairs.

If it is a fake why are sizes limited?

There is the same thing going on with Mitutoyo digital calipers. Essentially, you are loaning your money interest free to Pay Pal for a month.

edit: If/when you don't get his item, don't wait to file your Pay Pal claims. They do have deadlines and you will lose your money if you wait too long.

Really? I just put 4 in my cart. I bet if I completed that transaction then did it over and over again, I would end up sending "zuzxbd1" a bunch of real money.

That's how whomever they stole the add from listed it. It sure makes the add look real, huh? silly
