Obviously he moves up to the 450 next year if he is crowned West Coast SX Champion. Where does he go? I see 3 options......
1) Yamaha - Does he replace Barcia or Plessinger
2) Honda - To Replace Brayton
3) Husky - Replace Anderson or Deano?
I’d say to KTM to replace Marv but I think he is still under contract for another year.

Sexton will ride 450 Honda until the end of 2023 (his contract was big), Roczen will probably retire on red aswell.
Could we really see another 3 man KTM roster in the US? They already afford Prado/Cairoli/Herlings in EU. Ferrandis/Webb/Musquin an option?
Gonna be interesting for sure how this will turn out.
Ando hasn’t sniffed a win but one time in two years, but of the 3 currently on the team, I’d keep him. As much as I love Deano, I think Ferrandis would have better results.
That said...KTM signing Ferrandis wouldn't surprise me a bit.
Pit Row
Proven bike
Same engine techs as RB KTM
Same suspension techs as RB KTM
They’ll employ proven spanner spinners
The whole thing overseen by Roger.
The only difference is the colour of the plastics and the semi.
It’ll be a breeze for them.

I don't see Kawasaki letting Cianciarulo go.
I can see Dean Wilson moving over to the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Team to replace Bogle.
If Dean moves over to the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Team I can see the 3rd Husqvarna bike moving to the Red Bull KTM team for a 3rd rider (Ferrandis). Musquin has 1 year left on his contract and might call it a career after 2021.
I can also see Yamaha adding a 3rd rider to the team (Ferrandis or McElrath) if Barcia finishes 3rd.
Edit: Concerning the 3rd bike at Yamaha. I believe McElrath signed a 2 year deal and will point out of the 250 class.
Edit 2: McElrath is not pointing out of the 250 class.
Supercross holds a lot of weight. Not to mention, but he could very well add the outdoor championship to his resume after the summer is over.
Sexton is already signed.
And, to make matter worse for Yamaha, what if Barcia is in the top 3 or within striking distance, all the way to the end of MX season, after which most riders have already signed?
And that's assuming Barcia can't bring home a top 3 in SX.
Also, given their rider history it’s pretty obvious that BBMX doesn’t have the funding for 2 premiere riders. From the outside looking in, seems Baggett gets the main ride and most of their salary budget and then they have a ”second tier” rider for much less $
