Seems strange that a guy at the top of such a gnarly sport looks like a twig and can perform the way he does.

True enough. But in my own defense, I am thinking of the Bradley like in the photos below. But you are correct, he is not O'Mara/Dungey lean.

Probably 165-170.

I weigh 135 dry in my profile picture. There's no way Dungey weighs that.

At 6'3, I have been in top physical shape at 170 and top physical shape at 195, just depends on your routine, etc.

Have you fellas never met these guys? If any one of these racers tops 160 he is a monster. There are some but not many. They are perfect for the peg/bar/seat ratios. Taller/shorter riders take some real modifications. Ask the the goat

id say dungey is no heavier than 160. most of these dudes are jockey sized and i felt like a giant standing next to him after Phx SX. literally a miniature man lol. once pros get over about 180, stuff that isnt supposed to break, starts breaking. im about 280lbs and ride a fast B pace on my absolute best day, i break wheels and subframes like theyre going out of style, all without crashing.

Dungey is much more muscled up compared to the other riders except for Peick and Tomac. He's super lean, but he has a very athletic build from weight training - same with Tomac. I saw Dungey in person right before Hangtown and was right next to him talking to him (great young man, just as he comes off as being on TV). I'd put him at 155-160 lbs of very lean athletic muscle.

It's because they're training more for endurance than strength... look at the guy currently leading the Tour de France– Chris Froome is a toothpick, but the dude can blast up those mountains, just like Dunge can turn quicker laps at the end of of a race than at the start.
