Dungey is arguably the best part of this outdoors season....

How the ***k is it Barcias fault? He's scrubbing. Dunge had to expect that. FFS....the Barcia "trigger" is so old.

Dungey was looking a bit squirly. That front end was wiggle wobbling all over the place.

Total agreement. Barcia didn't cross jump or anything. That was all part of Ryan getting sendy as I posted in another thread. Overtaking rider or the rider trying to overtake has to pick a place to pass clean. This was a nothing burger. I didn't hear Dungey say anything about it.

The Barcia hate gets old. The sport will not be better when he retires.

I thought he was going to go down hard on the table top after the rollers that same lap when his bike kicked way out. Then he jumps over Anderson on the leap right afterwards. That lap was hectic!

That was badass when Anderson tried to take his line away and he cut back to the left and launched the leap for the pass.

Dungey hit that corner much more aggressive and likely would've had the pass had Barcia not come over. Dangerous to do right before a jump to a guy that's going faster into it than you imo.

Glad nobody went down.

Barcia didn’t do anything wrong at all. Dungey is trying gain speed and is taking a few more chances.

I agree he’s a legend in the same way I’d consider Ronnie Mac a legend as well.

Run ins with Barcia and Barcia revving the crap out of the bike next to him we’re my first thoughts when he announced the comeback. 😂 Like who needs this?

Exactly. The amount of people on this site who get butthurt on someone else's behalf never ceases to amaze me. They're both grown men and professional athletes, if Dungey had a problem, he would have dealt with it.

Perhaps Dungey should have seen that one coming, considering he's raced with Barcia for over a decade.

That wasn't Barcia or Dungey's fault.

Some of Barcias antics wind me right up, but I can't fault him on this one, could have been ugly but Dunge never ever would have expected Barcia to just yield.

Tomac lost some front knobbies at 2:29:45. Same spot. I'm sure no one likes passing the guy

That is 100% on Dungey. Anyone not understanding that is either a biased Barcia hater or doesn't understand anything about racing, overtaking, jumping and how scrubbing works.

Luckily nothing happened.

Just thought it was cool to see Dungey hanging it out that much. Obviously has nothing to prove to anyone anymore, but dude was sending it!

How often do you see a pro rider cut over 4ft going up the face of a jump? And what pro rider would do that when there's another rider a bike length behind in that line? The answers are almost never and Barcia. I'm a Barcia fan btw. I'm not saying it was wrong but let's be real...typically you take the line away coming out of the corner not on the face of a jump.

Pulp show 500, McGrath said, and Im paraphrasing "I would hate to race Barcia, I thought Emig was bad but Barcia is on another level".

Dungeys strength and conditioning are next level. That save and still maintaining speed?? Impressive.

I hate the way Barcia rides sometimes, but that one was all on Dungey. It's not Barcia's responsibility to make sure RD doesn't land on him off a jump from behind.

Yep, Dunge was going to try and make a run to the outside for the rollers. Barcia is over a bike length ahead of him and in zero way is this on Barcia. This looked worse than what it was because Dungey jumped basically off the track and was trying to correct it mid air after his own boo boo. The real save was when his back end kicked out after he landed and almost swapped at high speeds. That could have been UGLY

It's not? Are u serious? U can ride that way if ya want... but I love having the ability to walk....

If you aren't jumping... and the guy behind you is.... yes, it is on you to not die by being landed on.... now obviously dumb dumb doesn't care... all he cares about is ridiculous content for his youtube channel... lmao

I meant by him whipping the wheel over into Dungey's preferred line, which caused RD to aim to the right and somewhat off the track. It's not Justin's responsibility to Ryan to make sure that Ryan's race is going the way he wants.

Of course, you're right about not wanting to get paralyzed. Clearly, Barcia shouldn't dawdle in the landing zone of a big jump! Wink Cool
