You could've figured out he was leaving Suzuki for KTM reading here.

I agree Nerd, It could be argued that Suzuki have potentially cost Dungey both titles this year. If Ryan loses this outdoor title by just a few points, he will not be very happy. And even RV mentioned he doesn't want to win the outdoor series due to a mechanical, he wants to beat Dungey straight up.

That article doesn't tell us "what really happened" at all. It's a rehash of what everyone already knows.

Everyone?

Wow. Bummer. I guess I really missed the mark if everyone knows everything in that article, huh?

You picked a weird time to be even remotely critical of Dungey, Cox.

...for whatever reason.

It's safe to assume that everyone knows Dungey is frustrated. The unanswered question that everyone here wants to know is "what really happened with the bike".

Not everything. I had no idea Goose almost hit GuyB on the way to the line. Other than that, its all old news.

Thats the politically correct thing to say, but I'm guessing he is going to be just as happy no matter how he wins it.

I saw a video clip of them replacing the stator. My guess is water in the connector shorted it out.

How many electrical parts are there to fail these days? Stator, spark plug, CDI (black box), throtlle position sensor, gear shift position sensor, fuel pump/injector.

What other goodies might the factory be running to cause these "electrical gremlins"?

What really happened with the bike?

What was Dungey saying to his mom after the moto started?

What was Dungey screaming while on the line trying to hold the moto?

Those are the things I'd like to know...

EVERYONE knows that Dungey is frustrated....EVERYONE knows that he's professional and isn't going to bad mouth his team in public. Come on Cox, dig a little deeper! (Or is there some "read between the lines" subliminal secret info in there that everyone is missing?)

Good point! Are modern dirt scoots-and their electronic parts-just to fragile for motocross racing?

Steve............

You've pointed out what the minions here at vital have been saying for along time. He's a terrible interview.

Also...The obvious, that he's frustrated with his mechanical's. Who wouldn't be. How many did he have on his 250's or in 2010 on the 450..? Not many if any.. Hell, he picked up one of his championships on someone else's mechanical. Shit happens, its a motor sport. Luck or a lack there of is part of the equation.

Woulda coulda shoulda..... points this points, points that.

If Chad hadn't tried to make a factory four stroke into a boeing, he'd have these guys covered.

Most of these guys are fine until they get the TV camera in front of them. Then they're like a third grader having to give an oral report in front of the whole school. KW and Reedy are an exception.

The Media types around here like to paint people on the message boards as FWAC( Fans Without A Clue ). True for some but not all.

The Journalist/Journalism in this sport fit this part of the definition..( writing that reflects superficial thought and research ) (shallow; not profound or thorough: a superficial writer.)....

Tell us something we don't know or can't figure out.

Why Does Nerd even bother posting here? The title of this article should be " The same shit you already know". Where is the guy he was arguing with last week? He is a lot better at arguing than giving us new information.

Dungey acts professionally despite being frustrated by mechanical difficulties. Pulitzer worthy, Bravo.

Thanks. I'd like a Pulitzer. Who's going to submit it for me?
