You're right! 77 points with 3 rounds left. Of course they won't crown him yet but dang, what a change of events.

I really hope it's not a broken leg.

That would be correct if RV is out. Dungey is 77 points up on 3rd place Hill.

This was shaping to be a drama filled title fight and it may have all gone up in smoke tonight.

Heck yes!

And Canard is still 12th in points, ahead of Short, Langston, Lawrence, Stewart and Reed. Just sayin.

and from twmx's tweet

twmxdotcom Ivan Tedesco also went down shortly after RV2. He also left in an ambulence. We've heard broken ribs

RD has 36 points on RV so RV could get it back if hes not out.

Dungey is the champ now, even if he takes a vacation to Cancun the next 3 weeks. RV is in Surgery tonight. Guess RD can really get the outdoor testing going now.
Windham should place second.

I had a very poor view of the crash....... but from what i saw, it looked like his bike locked up and he bailed off in the air..... or maybe like he didn't want to land on somebody and bailed off.... i didn't/couldn't see him land, but i don't think he landed with his bike because he jumped off...

also, i couldn't see him laying on the ground, but saw he laid there for quite some time on the jumbo-tron.....

RacerX report said that he had to bail mid-air and landed in the face of the next jump. Almost similar to what Nico did last year.

If someone would of told me that Jlaw would race 95% of the races and end up w/53 I'd of said you were a moron. Or if they said after Chad Reed raced 4 main events he's only have 38 pts I would of said the same thing. It has for sure been a weird unpredictable season.

and btw...... the triple he crashed on wasn't one of the "big" triples..... it was a smaller triple at the end of a rhythm section..... what made it tricky was that the last jump in the triple was significantly taller than the previous two.... lastly... i'd say roughly 80% of the guys in the night program were jumping it every lap (including the 250 guys)....

Sure wished Hill could've hung with the Ryans after the nice West Coast swing he had.

Hill worked his tail off; maybe too much so that he didn't leave enough left in the tank for the last few races or his rib and thumb injuries that have just lingered and gotten worst trying to hold on to 3rd in the series. .

A healthy Hill usually is an up near the front starting from time trials until end of the 20 lap main.

Hope Josh digs deep and somehow pulls off a top 3 overall.

Best of luck Josh.

Bummer for RV and Tedesco. Especially RV and as close as the points were. Ivan has been riding very well as of late. Best wishes to both healing as quickly from their injuries.
