ready to kick some ass. Joking aside Cairoli proved last year he was the fastest mx1 rider in the world , i expect the same this year. Should be a good battle between AC and american pie Dungey. The american team doesnt look too dominant this year, no stewart and RV,very beatable.

As a team i know the americans are going to be tough but i prefer looking at the 1 on 1 battles in this case AC and dungey. imagine they get out the gate 1 and 2 what a battle that would be.

You don't need to Hype AC. Everyone knows he is a badass. I hope the USA loses this race this yr. It would be good for this exhibition race if team USA lost. But it won't happen. Stewart,Dungey and Canard will be hard to beat.

It will be great.....for the first 15 minutes, then Dungey will be gone while AC is sucking wind.WoohooWoohoo

In all seriousness it should be a good fight.

Actually i really don't think there would be much of a battle. And i don't like Dungey.

How do you know there will be no Stewart or 'Poto? Dungey will kick AC's butt in moto 3 if he has to. But the frog team should be pretty tough if they put Paulin, Pourcel and Musquin up there. I'm thinkin CP will be just as good on a big bike.

I just hope all the favorites get good starts and let the best man win. That first turn crash last year that took out Reed and AC was a buzz kill.

There wouldn't be a battle. Dungey would stay behind him 3 or 4 laps, check out his lines then pass him and finish with a 15 sec lead! Look at what Townley did to AC at the USGP. And Townley is hardly a top-three guy in the Nationals.

In Italy, AC beat the AMA best at the time, Reed. In the USA, I expect the same turnout, Dungey to beat AC. Plus Townley smoked everyone at GH....

Alessi had plenty of speed to deal with Cairoli at Glen Helen - a race that mattered more to Cairoli than Alessi - but Alessi is nowhere in the Nationals now. Alessi is lucky to keep Dungey in sight for more than 4 laps.

When did they announce the team? Who said there will be no Stewart? I figured there hadn't been an announcement because they were waiting to see if Stewart would really be back.

If so Dungey - Stewart - and Canard sounds pretty tough to beat.

I guess Stewart should be considered if he races the last 4 rounds , but I think it should go to someone who has been competing the entire series.

Right now....I would vote for Canard , Short and Dungey.

Of course james couldn't race the first 3/4 of the season because of his hand. BUT,....."would he" of raced any Nationals at all if it weren't for his injury?

I doubt it......But if he looks good and strong out there , and he wants to do it , then maybe he should get picked.

Either way....it'll be nice to see him back out doors again.
