Never seen a Leatt tossed off mid-race. Scandalous. Tantalizing.

RC's careful dissection of the merits of the neck-brace was interesting.

He was tentative with his analysis, which spoke volumes.

He said he thought he had it clipped, but that he obviously didn't. The straps he uses kept it from moving around too much, and he didn't have time to monkey with it while Villopoto was close, but after his crash he could ditch it.

Solid journalism there GuyB, sounds like you were going around and asking questions,

instead of prancing around looking pretty.

I liked how you said "monkey with it".

I just hope Ryan hasn't created a fad with the Leatt tear-off deal, like maybe kids

will start doing it randomly in their bedrooms or at malls and skate-parks, whatever.

Josh grant threw his off when he was in that epic battle at Buds Creek with Lawrence and Dungey.

I made billet buckles for mine and run a lock nut on the bolt.

None of us remember when Josh Grant got elbowed in the neck brace and had to toss it mid-moto outdoors? Somehow getting kung-fu chopped in the neck from J-Law made the clip come undone and Grant actually said he faded from the battle because his neck felt naked.
