Not that this is breaking news at this point, but at the beginning of today’s live practice broadcast, Weigandt asked Dungey if he wanted to address any rumors that might be out there. Dungey said that he’s indeed looking at options and that the fire is coming back.
I would be very selective. He has less to gain than lose coming back IMO.

Also.... wonder if roczen’s decision to retire is negotiable
Kenny is going slower now than he was in '16-17 in both SX & MX. Everybody else is floating around the level they've always been at. Dunge may well score 4th-7th upon his return, but thats not because the others are going faster.
Next you'll be telling us the bike tech is far better now than it was in 2017..
Sure, he's been out of the sport for a while, but he never let himself go. Give him a few races and I think he'll be up front.
Based on his stats, I would not be surprised to see him with 20 podiums in 2021 either.
Machines evolves a bit but i think the corner speed often stays the same, it is kinda like the physics laws. In my mind the last huge riding evolution was JS7.

For whatever reason, I don’t know if Dungey will ever be back under the KTM umbrella.
His brother Jade is also Sextons mechanic at Factory Honda, which is why he has been riding a stock bike with some team graphics and pipe.
He’s spent the last few years building up his home life and “resting”. Third he still looks to be in great shape and he knows exactly what it takes to win championships, how to get in race shape and manage a season.
Out of the lot of the rest of the field, I’d say he’s a good option. Not burnt out from the last 18 months or so and healthy and ready to win. If he comes back it won’t be a half hearted attempt either, he won’t line up unless he knows he can win. That’s my guess.
Q.When did KTM start dominating? A. After DeCoster came on board
My recommendation would be for any team Dunge can work with Roger.
Same thing happens to Stu Baylor and everyone wants to blame his style.
Every year is tough after the budgets are already set, 2020 is a MF.
Under the HRC tent if he can get his own sponsors.
As for K-Roc...
If i was dungey i wouldnt come back. He does not need the money. He has kids. Crazy to go out there and risking at 30+ yo
