From the lack of any kind of Nike branding, I'd say no.

Dungey is head to toe Fox. Nike is not making Moto boots for James anymore but they signed him to street wear and shoes I believe. The boots were insane, so light and great ankle support! Too bad they couldn't have gone into production!

Why didn't the Nike boots...after all that time and testing by Dungey & Stewart, fail to go into production? I remember both riders quoted as saying they were the most comfortable ever.

I want those boots.

I wore "Daytona" boots for road racing, sure, tons of options for 50-300$...but Daytona's at 900$ were worth every penny.

I believe they would cost too much to make and no profit. Like a few thousand a pair. No way to make them the same quality and affordable.

They were custom fitted to Stewart and Dungey. Nike basically developed them in house and then had TCX produce them. But as you can see in the photo, they're basically half carbon fiber and custom molding that stuff is not cheap at all. Why the CTI custom knee braces costed $2000 in the early 2000s.

Why they dont sell desing to TCX. They could make molded versions like you have seen coming knee brace market and still weight less than bulky ones we are still using. You could save more weight in boot than 1000d titanium bolts weight. Stewarts new G boots are also modified to get rid of 80 style metal braked at front of the boots.
