I work at a Honda dealership and sell them. Engine is a nice improvement over the 250, everything else is similar. If it was me, I'd spend the extra $$ and buy the 450L. YOLO. I have about 500 miles on our 300 demo, and about 3000 miles on a 450L fyi.

I need to get a video of me jumping a 1987 XR200 over a 70 ft table top. Its absolutely sick. Got guys rolling around on 450s and I just shred/kill this XR200. At times, its more fun to ride that than my 250F

I actually took Africa Twin last summer to motocross track. Jumping was surprisingly easy, but soft, sandy turns with street tires not so much.

I still remember a year or 2 before Hart backflipped telling a non moto friend "no one will ever be able to flip a full sized MX bike, it's just not possible."
Now we have all kinds of flip variations, double flips, front flips and even a guy flipping a f**king Dakar bike.

Fair to say i got that one wrong haha
