I too, drove to Redbud no sleep for 48 hours and drove back to St Louis after the race!
Great time, the people in the Usa outfits were friends I saw there from Quincy Illinois

That's why I packed up and went solo Saturday morning. Couldn't find a motel closer than an hour away so I threw my driver seat back in the general parking lot and slept a couple hours. Woke up, brushed my teeth and walked into the track at 7:00 am. I'm a people watcher so I walked around in the pro paddock for hours. If I saw me watching people I'd think, man look at the creep. Lol
